The HD Show Podcast – It’s Tebow Time Edition

The wheels have officially fallen off the Texans and the two-headed clown show of Bill O’Brien and Rick Smith look more like Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne at this point than capable football men following the team quitting on Sunday after a 44-27 spanking at the hands of the Dolphins in Miami… In addition to what might be the worst roster in football thanks to Dumb and Dumber – you’ve got dueling coordinators in Crennel and Godawfulsey fighting over who’s worse at their job – and then add Ryan ‘that’s-on-me-this-wont-happen-again-while-pounding-my-chest-yet-I-appear-as-though-I-havent-slept-in-days’ Mallett MISSING A TEAM CHARTER PLANE. This team is officially off the rails and the only thing that can fix it is Jesus – or the next closest thing – Tim Tebow…. It’s the latest edition of The HD Show Podcast  and Henry and I go where this season never thought it would go before – advocating for Tebow…. It’s getting real folks – It’s  The HD Show Podcast….

The HD Show Podcast Presented by Tom Peacock Cadillac – Hoyer Gonna Hoy Edition

Live from Casa De Thomas – we break down what the heck happened to the Texans against the Chiefs, why Hoyer was never the answer, and Jadaveon Clowney had a much better game than the stat box would suggest… Oh, and as great a game as JJ Watt had – he still didn’t line up at QB, so can we please temper the JJ Love? All that and the move to Thursdays HTown – it’s The HD Show Podcast!

13 Separates This Texans’ Team From 2013 Disaster

What a difference a year makes.

Or does it?

Depends on who you ask.

One year ago, your Houston Texans were limping into Week 8 following another one of those Houston Moral Victories, losing to the then-undefeated Chiefs 17-16. Case Keenum started the game, showed poise at times during an otherwise catastrophic start to the season, but in the end as was the case all last year, the offensive line collapsed at the worst time, Brian Cushing took a Jamal Charles Helmet to the knee and everyone wondered how in the hell could this Texan team really be 2-5.

Of course now this team limps into Week 8 following another one of those Houston Moral Victories – (shoutout to Lamont for that reference) Again. Granted this team isn’t 2-5 nor were the expectations heading into this season as astronomical as they were last year, but the theme for this team remains the same – Embarrassing.

Even more disheartening – this team might be worse than last year’s team.
